Caring for your eyesight
Having a routine eye examination is important.
The examination will identify changes to vision and check the general health of your eyes.
You may be entitled to a free National Health Service eye examination. Many groups of people are entitled to a free NHS examination:
- under 16s,
- under 19s in full time education,
- over 60s,
- diabetes sufferers,
- glaucoma sufferers or close relatives over 40.
