Contact lenses
We offer a range of contact lenses:
- Daily disposables
- Fortnightly disposables
- Monthly disposables
- Rigid gas permeable lenses
- Multifocals
- Coloured lenses
If you currently wear glasses and want to try contact lenses, we will first check
if your eyes are suited for contact lenses. (Most people’s eyes can accept contact lenses.)
Our experienced contact lens practitioner will check you have a current prescription and then, through
a thorough contact lens consultation, determine the most suitable lenses for you.
After this consultation we will give you a trial (tolerance) test for you to experience the feeling
of lenses in your eyes.
A convenient time will then be arranged for you to spend time with our practitioner who will show you how to insert and remove them, letting you try fitting them a few times yourself until you are fully confident to handle the contact lenses yourself.
An annual check-up for contact lens wearers is a must to ensure the integrity of the cornea and general health of the eyes.
